The South African Premier Soccer League consists of 16 teams playing against each other home and away for a total of 30 games in a season. The team that finishes bottom of the log in the Absa Premiership gets automatic relegation while the team that finishes 15th participates in Promotion Play-offs with two other member clubs from the National First Division.

This bet remains popular when high scoring teams are playing each other. Both teams need to score and this market remains popular. For your PSL predictions, you want to check which teams score and concede the most goals in the league. This will help you with research and you will predict more games correct. In the 2019/2020 season, Kaizer Chiefs were the highest scoring team with 48 goals and Black Leopards conceded 44 goals.

Total Shots

This bet will come in handy if a striker is on form and scoring plenty of goals on a regular basis. Last season, Cape Town City’s Kermit Erasmus scored 13 goals and he will be one to watch to get those goals again.

Player Bookings

As you know there a lot of players in the PSL that has a tendency to get a yellow card and make plenty of fouls. There are markets available when it comes to betting on fouls, yellow cards and red cards in the PSL fixtures. You can bet on how many cards will be shown in a game, or bet on a certain player to get a booking. Layton Daniels from Supersport United conceded 15 yellow cards last season and expect him to concede even more this season.

Yes thats correct, you can even bet on corners. You can bet on how many corners each team will win, how many total corners will be awarded and which team will win more. This also includes halt-time and full-time betting options. The PSL is known for scoring few goals and therefore more corners will be won.
